In the search for the essence of health and disease, I realised a few fundamental home truths (that they don’t teach you in medical school, yet) – that:
- Every cell in the body needs to be instructed, at all times, how to remain healthy and that instruction comes from an electromagnetic field that surrounds the body
- If that cell is not given these vital instructions, it either starts to disintegrate or starts multiplying out of control
- These vital instructions come from a level more fundamental than a biochemical level, they come from the level of the photon, the quantum level (the electromagnetic field.)
- Anything from stress, emotional upset, traumatic life events, bacteria, and environmental pollutants to poor diet can stop these vital instructions being fed to the cells from the electromagnetic field. This is when disease happens.
- Every part of our body, in fact, every element of the planet is a certain frequency (hertz). So a healthy body part will have a certain frequency and a diseased body part will have a different frequency.
- Applying the ‘healthy’ frequency to the body restores the vital instructions to the cell and so the cell and your own immune system gets back to normal function. In short, the diseased part of the body returns to its normal healthy state.
How does it work?
Using the technologies of pulsed electromagnetic field therapy PEMFT (extremely low frequencies – the frequencies of the electromagnetic field) and biofeedback (where the body tells the practitioner which frequencies are missing), we gently re-establish the energetic flow of your electromagnetic field so that your cells and body get the instructions to begin functioning again in a healthy way. We use an FDA approved Ondamed machine to identify and deliver the required frequencies.
The Ondamed device can locate and repair sites of silent inflammation and uses cutting edge frequency technology to locate and correct the places in the body’s communication pathway that are not functioning.
The therapist monitors the pulse of the patient during a series of scans for the most suitable frequency or the most appropriate program. The wrist pulse is monitored by the doctor, while the patient wears a sensor around the neck. The pulse usually spikes or changes in some way to indicate the frequency or program that the body needs. Once the program is chosen, the next step is to correct the disturbance by running the identified frequencies.
Specialized pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF) transmitted from the Ondamed device stimulate the nervous system to help reduce stress. As a result, the immune system is enhanced and strengthened. PEMF allows the patient to feel better, stronger, more energetic, and to enjoy improved sleeping patterns. PEMF also enhances wound healing, bone growth and pain relief. Blood flow and lymphatic drainage is also improved which facilitates a detoxification process and rejuvenation of body tissue

More of the Science
Quantum Roots
Medical therapy has long been concerned with management of disease from a biochemical perspective. This approach has had advantages, however many challenges still exist in terms of chronic disease management. Recent discoveries in quantum mechanics have enabled scientists to delve deeper into the origins of disease, to discover that cells do not function unless they are managed by information from the level of the photon and electron. This information system is known as quantum electro-dynamic information (QED). This system of intelligence feeds vital information to cells to tell them what they need to do to maintain health. This information pathway can be disrupted by anything from stress to infection and when this happens, the cells do not know how to continue functioning at a healthy level. It becomes clear that restoring the QED flow to the cells enables them to start functioning normally again. But how is this achieved in a practical manner?
Each living organ has a specific ‘healthy frequency’. This was discovered by a talented Irish physicist, Sir Joseph Larmor and has been used to full effect in MRI scanning. The liver looks like a liver on MRI because the machine can translate the ‘liver frequency’ into pictures. The MRI can also convert ‘unhealthy frequencies’ into pictures for example tumours or unwanted fluid. If the QED flow has stopped, the cells are no longer functioning in a normal way and so emit a recognizable ‘disease frequency’. If however, the known ‘healthy frequency’ is applied to the area of the body with the chaotic ‘disease frequency’ the QED flow is restored, the cells receive the information needed for health and they start functioning again in a normal way. Essentially the body heals itself. This applied frequency is known as Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy.
Established Research in PEMF
PEMF is well known to assist in bone formation, and in healing non-union fractures. 1, 2 There is also promising evidence that PEMF therapy may help prevent and treat osteoporosis. 3-7
Low-level PEMFs have also been shown to positively affect enzyme based processes at the cellular level and stimulate growth factors involved in cellular repair and bone formation. 8,9 Every cell membrane carries an electromagnetic charge, and PEMFs alter this charge by causing movement of ions across the cell membrane. Low-level PEMFs have been shown to exert an anti-inflammatory effect through restoration of plasma membrane calcium ATPase activity. 10
Apart from the effects at the cellular level, multiple published scientific studies show that low-level PEMFs produce a statistically significant reduction in pain when treating acute whiplash injuries, chronic musculoskeletal pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, epicondylitis, and neuropathic pain. 11-18
A 2003 study by NASA showed that very low level PEMFs up-regulate genes involved in normal cell growth.19 NASA scientists have investigated PEMFs with the ultimate goal of creating an astronaut suit that would provide a countermeasure for the muscle atrophy and bone loss associated with space flight. 20
The System
The Ondamed has been used in Europe as an approved medical device for the last 15 years. It has only been in the United States for the past 5 years, mainly used by alternative and complementary medicine practitioners.
The Ondamed produces very low-level pulsed electromagnetic frequencies in the range of 0.1-32,000 Hz, which have not been shown to harm the body. Mobile phones put out much stronger frequencies than this.
The ONDAMED® System is CE certified as a Class II Medical Therapy Device. The Medical Device Certification GMBH audit has proven, that this quality system meets all requirements according to Annex VI – Section 3 of the Council Directive 93/42/EEC of 14 June 1993 concerning medical devices
U.S.A.:
- Registered with the Food and Drug Administration as a Biofeedback Class II medical device, Cat. Neurology.
- In addition, ONDAMED® has been approved for use under the supervision of AAABEM, an Institutional Review Board, as safe for research or clinical testing as a non-invasive secondary therapeutic device in the treatment of pain, discomfort, or general malaise.
The use of PEMF therapies have been well established in the US, Canada and mainland Europe with significant success for clients and practices.
